Entries are encouraged from corporations, consultancies, trade promotion agencies, business member organizations. Entries can be made on the basis of self-nomination or third party nomination
The company be duly incorporated in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Eswatini, Zambia, Mozambique, United States of America
At least 20% of the revenue of the company is generated from imports in the 2021&2022 financial year
Must submit proof of turnover audited financial statements for the 2 consecutive financial years. Other Supporting Documents:

Organizational Structure
Entries should be in the name of the corporate body, agency or an individual but must also be lodged with the name of a lead contact in the event of any further information being required during the judging process. Entry packs are available for download and all entries must be received by midnight on Friday 2 September.
Judges have been selected on basis of professional experience. Judges will not take part in any panel considering an entry where they have a professional or personal interest. The judges decision is final and not subject to external review. The ECDC and USAID TradeHub will oversee the allocation of category portfolios to ensure geographical representation. The judging panel is subject to change without notice. Judges maybe drawn from sponsoring organizations but are excluded from the panel for which they are the sponsor.
Details of winners entities and all those of the shortlisted entrants, will be published. Copyrights will be retained by the entrant although ECDC reserves the right to republish shortlisted or winning entries as whole, in part or in edited form in printed and electronic format.
Shortlisted nominees will each be entitled to attend the award ceremony event schedule for 26 July 2022.
